It's autumn. Crown and Dolphin hide the Sun and the Moon, the Dark Time enters the world. And soon the Great Hunter would start his ageless race, searching for the lonely souls in the autumn darkness...

Somebody from the Far East...

The time of autumn storms started. Nord-Osts, and the waves cover the beach on all its wideness. We'll still have a mounth or even more of warm sea here, but this storm is the first sing of season changing.

A new drawing. And again - a fairy. Old and sad fairy.

Last time I draw in my jobtime, just on the backsides of job papers and document copies. Very often I feel the strong wish to take acryl and spend a weekend drawing. It's so pitty that I have no time for it now!

Koktebel treasures

I am in love with Koktebel seashores. Strange, mystic, magic land with its amber hills covered with blue sea patina. It's so pitty that last years it takes more efforts to ignore all those crowds of people that got used to arrive here during the season. But never the less, I love this place.

Here I am again. I am sorry for so long absence, but I had to.

The summer comes to its end, the sea is calm and warm, but the leaves on the trees already sound different. So, let's meet the cold's eve?

Belorussian holodnik

The summer promisses to be hot again. So, I began to remind the "summer recipes". Spain gazpacho, russian okroshka, indian raita... I used all of them. And not long ago I tried something new. It's belorussian holodnik.

Take 0.5 kg of boiled beets, 0.5 kg of fresh cucumbers, 5-6 sprouts of green onion and 1 l of savory yogurt (or kefir - it's original for belorussian recipe). 
Grate the beets and cucumbers, add cold yogurt and sliced onion, add some salt and ground black pepper. Mix well.
I also added some soy sauce - I like it with kefir.

Chlorophytum blossoms

As far as I know, some times ago chlorophytum considered to belong to Liliaceae family. Now the science says it belongs to Asparagaceae, subfamily Agavoideae, but... look at this macro! Isn't it a small gentle lily?!

It's 112 years old, and it still safes the ships near our dangerous  searshores. I think there is something magic in the nature of lighthouses. Lighthouse. The house of light. Isn't it a miracle - to keep the light in a house?..

May Mists

This May is so misty... I failed to make bright and expressive landscape pics. Only mists and rains, rains and mists...

But having failed with landscapes, I succeeded with falderols! I tried to make outdoors photoes of bijouterie, and I like the results. Here are some:

 

 

 

Wild Irises

May is the time of wild irises here. I love them very much, so, on the first May day I went to take some pics in the hills.

Spring Blessing

The last weekend spring seemed to wake up at last. So, my daughter and I went to harvest some dandelions, - I planned to make some dandelion vinegar. 

Everything is blossoming, both trees and flowers. We found blossoming almond, plum and apricot. I think soon wild apple-trees and quince wold start too. It's so beautiful!

  

 

We harvested dandelions, and I tought Dara how to ask the plant to give its strength and power to the people, how to choose the flowers and thank Mother Earth for the gift.

The result of our outdoors looked so shiny in the new Dara's nursery!
 

Rustic soft cheese

I've done it! Rustic soft cheese - quick recipe, just for my busy time. :) Here is the shot:

It didn't take much time (40 minutes), and it appeared to be cheap enough, more than 50% cheaper than in the shop. And it tastes much more better than those in the shop! I am really satisfied with the result of my efforts. Next week I'll repeat with it. It seames to me, I have found one more really natural product for my family. :)

Beltaine Leaves

At last I've finished with this beads coord. :) I made it during a couple of mounths, and I couldn't understand what kind of furniture would complete this bijouterie. And suddenly I've understood what I needed: Czech glass beads! So, here it is. :)

It has several variants to wear.

Mammillaria

My mammillaria awaked early this year. It surprised me a little bit, but I am so glad to see its small bright flowers! It looks like the plant put some kind of diadem around its scratchy head.

Springtime on the seashore

I'm really in love with these mountains and sea. Spring awoke at least, and I'm waiting for weekend, when I'll be able to visit my favorite places...

Brynza with greens

Springtime for me is also the season of "quick recipes". Inspired with this post, I've made brynza with chopped onions and garlic sprouts. We like this mix for sandwiches. So, that was my breakfast today:
